Party Warrior!

“What makes you feel fierce?” No one really answered. “What do you do really well?” @Maxalix asked her yoga class as we settled into  the warrior pose. Still no one answered.  I was put on the spot and then I sheepishly said as I struggled to get into pose …. “ I throw really great parties!”  Lola is a PARTY WARRIOR!  She exclaimed in front of the whole class!  And it felt really great! And resonated really deeply inside of me. From that moment I’ve realized i AM a party warrior…

i realized I really value the importance of creating an accepting environment where you can come together , express yourself , lose your inhibitions and experience joy. Right now in this crazy world, it’s important to come together collectively to stand up for what’s right, to be angry, to protest,to fight,to be strong,to grieve. But it’s also important to experience joy collectively.  I really do take my contributions as a party warrior seriously!
